Kennedy Cares Week 2024: A Celebration of Unity, Generosity, and Impact
November 18-24, 2024
Kennedy Executive Search demonstrated the incredible power of global unity and compassion. Through the Kennedy Cares initiative, teams from our offices worldwide rolled up their sleeves, gave back to their local communities, and truly embodied our belief that small actions can create big change.
This year’s Kennedy Cares Week was nothing short of inspiring. From Milan to Munich, Salzburg to Paris, and beyond, our global network came together to spread kindness, foster hope, and make meaningful contributions to local organizations. Here’s a look at some of the amazing efforts that made this week unforgettable.
Milan Office: Collaborating with “Associazione in Cammino”
The Milan team partnered with Associazione in Cammino, a volunteering organization supporting people with impairments. Together, they spent a morning conducting work-related activities, such as CV writing and self-introduction exercises, while having fun with games like “Guess the Job.”
Salzburg Office: Supporting Youth Through “Rettet das Kind Salzburg”
Our Salzburg team worked with Rettet das Kind Salzburg, an organization dedicated to helping children and families in need for over 60 years. One of their standout initiatives, “Jugendwohnhaus Salto,” provides a safe and supportive environment for young people aged 13-18, empowering them to grow into confident, independent adults.
The Salzburg team organized a relaxing day at a thermal spa for these young individuals—giving them a chance to unwind and feel cared for. It was a small but meaningful gesture to brighten their lives and show our appreciation for this incredible organization.
Munich Office: Partnering with Münchner Tafel e.V.
In Munich, the team supported Münchner Tafel e.V., an organization that provides food to over 25,000 people across 28 distribution points in the city. With 100,000 people in Munich relying on food donations, this work is critical.
Our Munich team assisted with sorting and distributing food, learning firsthand about the incredible dedication of 1,000 volunteers who help reduce food waste while feeding those in need. This experience deepened the understanding of the challenges faced by many in our community and inspired to continue supporting this cause.
Poland Office: Empowering Women with Fundacja Digital University
The Polish office partnered with Fundacja Digital University to support its “Success University” program, which equips young women aged 18-25 with the skills and confidence to kickstart their careers.
Through specialized courses, mentoring, and HR advisory sessions, the program focuses on helping participants enter the IT industry and thrive in the digital age. The work done by this foundation is truly transformative, and we’re proud to have contributed to its mission.
Monaco Office: Career Coaching for Mothers
In Monaco, Frisenberg J. & Associates offered free career coaching sessions for mothers returning to the workforce after parental leave. This initiative focused on rebuilding confidence, refining skills, and empowering women to reenter the financial services industry.
This thoughtful gesture reminded us of the importance of inclusion and support for individuals navigating major life transitions.
Czech Republic: Mentoring Parents on Parental Leave
Our Czech team collaborated with M.arter, a nonprofit that supports parents on maternity or parental leave. With the Czech Republic facing the EU’s highest unemployment rate among parents returning to work (up to 60%), this long-term mentoring program is a lifeline for many.
Over the past two years, our team has helped four women relaunch their careers through personalized mentoring, proving that parenthood can be a stepping stone—not a barrier—to professional success.
Paris: Inspiring the Next Generation
In Paris, Apollo Executive Search/Kennedy France dedicated a day to empowering students at Lycée Emile Dubois. Through CV writing workshops, LinkedIn tips, and interview training, our team equipped students with valuable career management skills.
The day was filled with learning, role-playing, and motivation—both for the students and our team. Seeing their excitement and potential was a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we invest in the next generation.
Together, We Care
Kennedy Cares Week is more than just an annual initiative—it’s a reflection of who we are as a global community. Whether we’re helping young people build their futures, supporting families in need, or empowering women to achieve their dreams, every action we take reinforces our belief that when we care together, we thrive together.
Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and shared these stories. Together, we’ve made a difference, and together, we’ll continue to create a brighter, kinder world.
